The Language of Art and the Art of Language
This project uses the contemporary and historical art collections at the Tate Britain to stimulate creative writing. From abstract poetry to the invention of characters of your Elizabethan soap opera, your imagination will be unleashed.

Masterclass tutor: Tânia Gil Horta

Bio: Tânia is an experienced cultural educator, passionate about the arts and learning. After studying Arts Photography at the University for the Creative Arts, she completed her Masters in Arts Criticism and Management at the London City University. Since then, she has worked for a variety of organisations such as the Tate Galleries, the Royal Academy of Arts and Gift Courses; where she pursued her passion to inspire children through the arts. She currently works at the Houses of Parliament and at the Science Museum devising and delivering a wide range of educational interactive sessions to inspire and engage children of all ages.
